How is it delivered?

OK, so you’re ready to get your first, or additional, NED role? Here’s how we can work together to make that happen.

3 Hats delivers either a 1-2-1 or group coaching (min. 4 and max. 8 participants), mentoring and advising programme over a period of 6 weeks that will help give you the best chance of success in achieving a NED role.

The sessions are delivered online via Zoom and include the following key topics and stages in the programme to get you ready to apply for roles that are suitable for you and that you’re passionate about.

  1. Discovery, goal setting and what it takes to be an effective NED
  2. What companies want versus your skill set, elevator pitch
  3. Personal brand(ing) – CV & LinkedIn review
  4. LinkedIn and online engagement
  5. Searching for roles including networking as 70% of roles are landed this way
  6. Meet a NED – Q&A session with a current NED
  7. Preparing & practicing for interview

A 1-2-1 or group session (minimum of 4 and maximum group size 8) options are available.

Once complete, you will have the clarity and confidence needed to apply and interview for NED roles so that you get the benefit of a varied and interesting career transition from where you are currently. You will have the confidence to know how to most effectively promote your personal brand to the organisation(s) you’d like to be appointed by. No longer will you be guessing at the process and the effort required to be hired as a Non-Executive Director by a range of companies.
